                      Civil Engineering may be define as a  professional  engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like dams, canal, road, bridges, and buildings.
Civil engineering being the second-oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, was defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.

                    Control engineering or control systems engineering is the engineering discipline that applies control theory to design systems with desired behaviors.

                    Structural  Engineering

                  it deals with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads.

                    Earthquake Engineering

                    is defined as the study of the behavior of structures and Geo-structures subject to seismic loading, it is considered as a subset of both structural and geotechnical engineering.

                   Earth science

                    Earth science or Geo-science referring to the fields of science dealing with planet Earth

                    Forensic Engineering-

                    Forensic engineering is the investigation of materials, products, structures or components that fail or do not operate or function as intended, causing personal injury or damage to property.

                   Municipal or Urban Engineering-

                  it applies the tools of science, art and engineering in an urban environment. And also concerned with municipal infrastructure.

                  Materials Engineering

                  commonly known as materials science and engineering, is an interdisciplinary field which deals with the discovery and design of new materials.
